Villa Atas Ombak, Indonesian for "Villa On The Waves", is directly located on the beach only a few kilometers north of Legian. Featuring breathtaking views of Bali's famous sunsets, the Villa was completed in mid-1995 and encompasses an acre and a half of garden area, with over 100 meters of beach frontage. It also includes a large swimming pool, a main building with three bedrooms, a large entertainment pavilion that functions as an open-air living room, and a separate guest-house containing another two bedrooms. Located far enough away from the tourist crowds to ensure total privacy, this villa is still close enough to offer easy access to Bali's favorite shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

It's hard to say enough about Atas Ombak. The villa has been featured in a number of magazines, including Elle and Vogue, and has been used as the setting of several television shoots. With that sort of media coverage it is not surprising that Atas Ombak is consistently one of the most popular villas on the island. Occupancy figures remain very high and guests reserve far in advance. Due to its size, location, and scenic beauty it is also a favorite wedding and event location.

The villa underwent renovations in the Fall of 2006. Improvements were made to phsycial facilities and new amenities were added. Atas Ombak is certain to continue to define the Bali Dream Home.

Villa Atas Ombak includes five bedrooms and a variety of living spaces.

Sited on one and a half acres of land, the property includes a two storey main building with three bedrooms, dining area and entertainment room and a large separate entertainment pavilion that functions as an open-air living room fronting on the pool. In addition, there is a separate guesthouse containing two large Ocean bedrooms with en suite bathrooms.

Master Suite Bedroom

The large and luxurious Master Suite is dominated by the exotic modern canvas hung above the king-sized bed. The suite contains a large sunken bathtub, a dressing area, an open-air bathroom, and access to a private plunge pool. Main House Guest Bedrooms (2)

In addition to the Master Suite, two guest bedrooms are located in the main building. One guest bedroom is located on the ground floor and the second is above. Each bedroom has its own terrace, dressing area, and open-air bathroom. Ocean Bedrooms (2)

Two Ocean rooms are situated off to one side of the property. Closer to the beach than the main building, they each have full air-conditioning with large windows offering panoramic views, open-air bathrooms, and an outside lounge area

Dining Area

The dining area is located in the main building. The large partially open dining area is decorated with antiques and exudes an aura of simplicity and style. Its centre piece is an antique dining room table capable of seating twelve people in comfort.

The dining area is sheltered from the weather yet still provides a beautiful view of the ocean and the spectacular Bali sunsets.

Living Area:

Directly in front of the main building and looking onto the beach and the pool, is a large covered pavilion open on all sides. Constructed in traditional Balinese style with an intricately thatched roof and supported by four massive pillars, this bale provides an informal area in which to relax with a cocktail and enjoy the exceptional colors at sunset.

TV Room:

With a new plasma TV, a DVD player and stereo system, the TV room provides guests with access to media and entertainment. The room features comfortable couches and love seats giving you a relaxed place to watch a movie or just chill out and talk.

Villa Atas Ombak is a member of the Canggu Club (Bali's first country club) and the villa guests are eligible to use the club facilities, which include a full gym & spa, tennis & squash courts, football pitch, large pool and all its F&B facilities.

Events:

Atas Ombak is one of Bali’s most popular villa event spaces. Located right on the beach with a large flat garden area, the villa is perfectly suited to holding events. The grounds are capable of accommodating either smaller intimate groups or large events of 150 (seated) to 300 (standing).

The Staff:

Villa Manager
Oversees and coordinates the villa and staff, meets and greets guests upon their arrival and is available to assist guests during their stay.

Assistant Villa Manager
In charge of the villa cleanliness and ensures all villa facilities are working properly.

Six Kitchen Staff (four senior cooks)
Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided and the cooks will do all the market shopping.

Six Room Attendants
Responsible for all housekeeping duties and providing waiter service throughout the villa.

Five Security Guards
Proving the villa with 24 hour security, Six Gardeners and Pool Attendants, Tending the garden, the grounds of the villa and the pools.
